THE Palmview AND Sandpiper Inns are a pair of restored 1950s-era cottage properties on Donax Street, close to Sanibel Island’s southern beaches and the Sanibel Island Golf Club. Operated together under Rosen Vacations, the two inns provide roughly ten cottage and apartment-style units, each with a full kitchen, premium bedding with down comforters and a 50-inch smart television offering Netflix and Hulu. Both buildings were rebuilt after severe hurricane damage and reopened in late 2023, keeping original architectural character while adding new furnishings and systems. Shared outdoor space includes barbecue grills, seating areas and an off-leash area for dogs, and pet-sitting can be arranged on request. Free WiFi and free self-parking are provided, and the front desk keeps limited daytime hours, with anytime arrival accommodated. Dogs are welcome for a nightly fee, with a maximum of two per unit, and the premises are entirely smoke free. There is no pool, restaurant or fitness facility on site.
