The Driftwood Inn is a small family-owned boutique inn on the east end of Sanibel Island, occupying a landscaped garden property on Donax Street within a short walk of the Gulf beaches. The inn comprises four cottages, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living and dining area and a private screened lanai, sleeping up to six guests. Interiors follow a contemporary coastal palette, and every cottage comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and a wagon for carrying gear to the sand, along with complimentary bicycles for exploring the island’s shared-use paths. Shared grounds include a thatched tiki hut for shade and gas barbecue grills. Practical amenities cover free WiFi, free uncovered self-parking, air conditioning and on-site laundry facilities, and dogs are welcomed for an additional nightly fee. Nightly, weekly and monthly stays are offered, and the Sanibel Island Golf Club and southern beach access points lie close by.
