Sanibel Inn occupies a stretch of private Gulf-front sand on the east end of Sanibel Island, part of the independently operated Inns of Sanibel collection. The resort was completely redesigned following storm damage and now offers refreshed guest rooms and suites set among mature tropical landscaping, with roughly 600 feet of private beach known for shelling. A heated outdoor swimming pool with a poolside bar anchors the courtyard, and guests can borrow beach loungers and umbrellas, rent bicycles or kayaks, use the tennis court, or take advantage of golf privileges at the adjacent course. Dining is on site: Dante’s Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, and the Island Time Bar and Grille covers lunch and cocktails. Additional touches include barbecue grills, a fire pit, a shop on site and a 24-hour front desk. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM with a minimum age of 21, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Pets are not accepted.
